Ruben O’Malley is a cinematographer and occasional director who has had numerous sightings all over the world. Some he will admit to, others not. Lately Ruben has been shooting some really fun commercials, you may have seen the H&R Block wrecking bunny spot, if not check out the links in the news section. Last year he shot a doc in Guantanamo Bay, he is currently engrossed in a documentary of his own called “Tiny Giant”, about a severely disabled performer. Jeff Lipsky’s Feature “Twelve Thirty” has finished it’s run at the Angelika in NYC and the Sunset in LA, look for it on DVD soon. “For Real” has compleated a successful run in Asia, we can’t say if it will come to the US anytime soon, but we’ll cross our fingers all the same.
